Fishing Trips
Full Day Excursions – Year Round
Complete your ranch vacation with a day of fishing. We'll take you to some great local fishing spots where you can catch jackfish, trout, walleye and other Alberta gamefish. Package highlights include:
- Exploring some of the many lakes and rivers in the area.
- Experienced local guide.
- Limited to four guests per trip.
- Boat with life jackets and fish finder included.
- Ice fishing in winter.
- Fishing rods and tackle available, or bring your own.
- Day licence available.
- Picnic lunch included.

Ranch Experience Stay
1 to 3 months – March to May, September to November
Catering to young adults aged 18 to 35, this package offers a very affordable way to experience life on a cattle ranch. Participants master many new challenges as they learn about ranching and caring for the horses and cattle. Other activities include horseback riding, ATV rides, canoeing and much more. Get an insight into the tourism business and what it takes to run a guest ranch. This program is ideal for younger international visitors who wish to improve their language skills, get to know the country and the people, while living in a safe and comfortable family environment . At the end of their stay, participants have gained valuable experience for their resumes, giving them an edge for obtaining better jobs, particularly in Europe where it is very advantageous to have out of home country experience.
